Startup series: The nuts and bolts of product

Alley Interactive specializes in building big sites for content publishers — such as NewRepublic.com and NYPost.com — but our team has also amassed tips for early-stage startup founders looking to create a successful product and business.

Managing Partner Austin Smith will present on the Developer Panel at Charming Robot’s Startup Series: The Nuts and Bolts of Product, a day-long program on Saturday, May 10th. Alley Interactive has worked with a lot of media product startups, handling the many inputs and features that go into making a big content site, and Austin will share his insights and best practices on technical development. What are the problems worth solving and what are real solutions?

Austin will join:

  • Dave Small, CTO, Fieldlens
  • John Cihocki, CTO, Startup Giraffe
  • Moderator: Steve Martocci, Co-Founder, GroupMe
  • The panel will delve into everything a startup founder or team would want to know, including how to identify the best technical team early on to common mistakes to a breakdown of the product process.
