Getting to the source at SRCCON

Where are the midsize metro news developers? How do you create compelling visuals for abstract stories? What is “giffable audio”? These are some of the topics SRCCON, a hands-on conference focused on news technology and data challenges, will discuss this year in Porland, Oregon. This year over 50 sessions will delve into a wide range of newsroom-related issues.

Alley Interactive is a Supporting Sponsor this year, joining Condé Nast, WordPress VIP, New York Times, GitHub, Knight Foundation, and Vox Media as some of the partners for the event. Our Director of Product Development Josh Kadis and User Experience Developer Pattie Reaves will also be attending the conference to learn about new newsroom technical trends and share their knowledge with other attendees.

Live transcripts are available for some of the sessions and follow along at @SRCCON for updates.
